Yesterday, I sent Netflix Mike's game CD instead of their movie. Today, I had been cleaning the stairs with the vacuum, leaving the machine at the top of the cherry stair case. Alex came by with her laundry basket and sent it down the stairs. Big crash and gauging of wood!
Some how, I can not get the service time change to stick in my head, I think church starts at 10, but it is 9:30. Do I keep forgetting this for a reason? I keep missing service. Lucky they tape it and I can still get it.
We were going to go to Avatar, the movie. Mike decided to put his contacts in so it would be easier wearing the 3D glasses. He reaches for the saline bottle and gets the wrong one, burning his eye with acid. Stat care visit and scrips later, I am spending the night with a pirate. We must go to the eye doc tomorrow to see the extent of the damage. (It was gross, could see the eye layer that was pulled off, like a layer of skin. yucko yucko) On the cool side, stat care had this contraption that was a contact lense hooked up to a tube that ran saline wash through the eye. Mike is in pain, the Doc had some drops that eased the pain for an hour, but nothing is taking the pain away now. The new drops don't work like the ones they had at stat care. Praying the pain goes away and the damage is not serious and heals fast!
